Norman Erdis O'Brien

  Norman Erdis O'Brien, 53, of Marthaville, died in Pleasant Hill
on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 2:45 p.m.

  O'Brien is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kathryn O'Brien of
Memphis, Tenn.; one son, Norman Ervin O'Brien of Memphis; one
daughter, Beth O'Brien of Memphis; two brothers, James D.
O'Brien, Oxon Hill, Md.; and Herman O'Brien, Houma; two
half-brothers, Charles O'Brien of Robeline, Emery O'Brien of
Many; one half-sister, Mrs. Ellison Ainsworth of Shreveport, and
one grandchild.

  Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m., in the
Beulah Methodist Church of Marthaville. The Rev. Clarence Berley
of Marthaville, and the Rev. Larry Bazer of Natchitoches
officiated.

  Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
