Ogg. 70, were held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 23, at lakeside Baptist Church. Interment followed at Union Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Rev. Marshall Ingle, and Rev. Presley Marcantel officiated. Mr. Ogg was a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, a veteran of World War II, and was a member of the DAV, the American Legion, and lakeside Baptist Church in Converse. He died at 3 a.m., August 21, in Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport. Mr. Ogg is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leona Ogg of Converse; son, David Ogg of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers-in-law, R. F. Rogers, Leroy Rogers, and Jimmy Rogers; one sister-in-law, Johnnie Thames; three sisters, Betty ray, Pearl Carriger, Lois Winters; one brother, Roland Earl Ogg; and three grandchildren, David Ogg, Dawn Ogg, and Brandy Ogg. Pallbearers include McCoy Carroll, Harold Murry, J. C. Price, Roger Winfree, Harold Mitchell, J. J. Keene, Honorary pallbearers included Marvin Hill, Frank Gray, Leon Coker, Vigel Welker.
