Services were held at St. Catherine Catholic Church, on July 29, 1987, at 10 a.m., with Father Earl Provenza officiating. Burial was at St. Catherine Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, John C. O'Stean of Shreveport, Reece Youngblood, Jr. of Mansfield, and William Harris Youngblood, Sr. of Shreveport; two daughters, Rebecca Sue Sadler of Benton, and Glennis Craig of Zwolle; one brother, William Melvin O'Stean of Marietta, Ga.; five sisters, Eva Norton of Columbus, Ga., Mae Brown of Minneapolis, Minn., Ruth Goolsby of Birmingham, Ala., Rosalee Wilcher of Columbus, Ga., and Dean Brazell of Washington, D. C.; nine grandsons, eight granddaughters; one great granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers included Kenneth Ebarb, E. M. Raab, Kenneth Earl Youngblood, Leo Tanner, Harold Lyn Youngblood, and Billy Wayne Youngblood.
