Sylvia D. Diamond George Sistrunk Ostrander

  Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia D. Diamond George Sistrunk
Ostrander, 56, of Keithville, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec.
28, 1995, at the Mansfield Chapel.

  The Rev. Bob Miller, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church of
Mansfield, officiated. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  Mrs. Ostrander died Dec. 27, in Shreveport.

  Survivors include her husband, John Henry Ostrander of
Keithville; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Aswell Diamond of
Mitchell; two sons, Wayne George (wife Beth) of Oak Grove, Larry
Ray George (wife Carolyn Ann) of Abita Springs; one stepson,
Clarence Ostrander (wife Faye) of Shreveport; two stepdaughters,
Linda Ann Johnson (husband Bubba) of Converse, and Marie
Slaughter (husband Mark) of Oil City.

  She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Zula Fox (husband
Curtis) of Mitchell, Mrs. Myrtie Virginia Dixon (husband Russ) of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Carolyn Sue Carroll of Keithville; seven
grandchildren, Jaimie, Jennifer, Holly, Tia Devon, Christopher,
Matthew, and Jeffrey George; and two nieces; and four nephews.

  Pallbearers were Ricky Austin, John Barmore, Donnie Brown, Tim
Barmore, Frank Fox, and Kris Hayes.
