Survivors are two sons, Francis Oxley, and Herbert Oxley, both of Many; three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Mae Leach of Bridge City, Tex., Mrs. Dona Mitchell, and Mrs. Ethel Leggett, both of Many; one brother, Joseph Byrd of Florien; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Oxley of Shreveport, Mrs. Eula Mae Alford, Mrs. Lula Ross, and Mrs. Pearl Patrick, all of Many, and Mrs. Ruth Enis of Bossier City; 24 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, Jan. 9, at 2 p.m., in the Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial was in the Oxley Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
