She died in Many at the age of 92 on Friday, June 20, at 8:45 a.m., following an extended illness. Funeral services were held at Warren Meadows Funeral Home at 2 p.m., on Sunday, June 22, with the Rev. Brent Fleming, and Rev. Virgil Jones officiating. Burial was in the Lewing Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Murray Purvis of Meridian, Miss., and Mrs. Ann Murray Byles of Many; two sons, Jack ? Murray of Orange, Tex., and Keffer A. Murray of Many; one stepson, Saul I. Murray of Rayville; two sisters, Mrs. R. F. Fyke of Many, and Mrs. Jessie Downs of Florien; 27 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 8 nieces, and 6 nephews. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Charles Murray, H. D. Purvis Jr., Clauriste Byles, Valmore Byles, Bobby Behan, and Keneth Earl Leone.
