Mrs. Virgie Lucille Oxley

  Funeral services for Virgie Lucille Oxley, 85, were held on
March 8, 1994, at 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of
Hornbeck, with burial following in the Oxley Cemetery. Rev. Bobby
McCullan, and Rev. Roy Dowden officiated.

  Mrs. Oxley died on March 6, 1994, at the Heritage Manor #1 in
Many.

  She is survived by four sons, Riley Oxley of Peachtree City,
Ga., W. L. Oxley of Wiley, Tex., Johnny Oxley of Memphis, Tenn.,
and A. Dean Oxley of Hornbeck, La.; three daughters, Elizabeth
Sullivan of Claude, Tex., Marie Bynam of Hornbeck, La., and Rose
Melancon of South Haven, Miss.; one sister, Evelyn Brooks of
Sulphur, La.; one brother, Cleveland Rogers of Anacoco, La.; 13
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
