Betty Ruth Hensley Oxley

  Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Ruth Hensley Oxley were held
Friday, April 26, 1996, at the Les Fontaine Funeral Home Chapel,
with the Rev. H. H. Tibbits officiating. Interment followed at
the Oxley Cemetery, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral
Home.

  Mrs. Oxley died Wednesday, April 24, 1996, in Many. She was a
resident of Sabine Parish since 1964, a homemaker, and was known
by family and many friends as kindhearted, loving, and selfless.

  She was preceded in death by her sister, Robema Ann Freemore;
and her brother, James Bruce Hensley.

  Mrs. Oxley is survived by her loving husband, Herbert Oxley of
Many; her mother, Emily Gaddy Hensley; one brother, Billy Hensley
of Marion, North Carolina; and one sister, Carlyin Crouch of
Kannapolis, North Carolina.

  Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; and a host
of other relatives and friends.
