Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 15, at Aimwell Baptist Church, with interment following at Aimwell Cemetery in Zwolle. Bro. Vernon Stephenson officiated, and Bro. Steven Neasley, pastor of Aimwell Baptist Church in Zwolle, assisted. Oswald was employed at Caterpillar Equipment Co. His love for hunting and fishing brought him to Toledo bend in 1977. Survivors are his widow, Lavada Oswald of Zwolle; one son, Terry Oswald and wife Debra of Natchitoches; two daughters, Cindy Haire and husband Mark of Bossier City, and Sherry Fulton and husband Rodney of Zwolle; three sisters, Phyllis Ross of Aurora, Ill., Shirly Wilkins of Hornersville, Mo., and Wanda Elder of Malden, Mo.; one brother, Doyle White of Malden, Mo.; five grandchildren, Christopher and Brittany of Natchitoches, Lance Haire of Bossier City, and Hannah and Alan Fulton of Zwolle; and a host of other family and friends.
