Edna Tompkins Oakerson

  Edna Tompkins Oakerson of Zwolle, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, at
3:50 p.m., at Fraser Hospital North, Many. She was 83.

  Funeral services were held at Zwolle First Baptist Church,
Friday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Fisk Ray, and Rev. Joe
Ratcliff officiating. Interment was at Zwolle Cemetery.

  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lucille O. DeWitt of Many;
two sons, James F. Oakerson of Los Angeles, Ca., and Earl M.
Oakerson of Mt. Pleasant, Tex.; a sister, Annie Keene of
Shreveport; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one
great-great grandchild.
