Funeral services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, August 2, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Brent Fleming, and the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows funeral Home. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Willie Mae Ott of Many; two sons, Azell F. Ott, Jr., and Davis Thomas Ott of Mansfield; two stepsons, Jerry Dyess, and Ronald Dyess of Natchitoches; one step daughter, Marilyn Lewis of Pleasant Hill; one brother, Marvin Ott of Pelican; four half brothers, Melton Ott of Eunice, N. M., T. J. Ott of Pelican, Robert, and Franklin Ott, both of Shreveport; four half sisters, Judy Hippler of Pelican, Lucille Rivers of Campti, Lilly Gale Moss of Pleasant Hill, and Debra Sue Ott of Mansfield, and seven grandchildren.
