Maudie P. Ott

  Maudie P. Ott, 72, of Converse, died Monday morning, Nov. 6, in
a Converse hospital, after a short illness.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in Converse Baptist Church
in Converse, with the Revs. Sid Young, J. G. Tipton, and Shannon
O'Glee officiating. Burial was in Converse Cemetery in Converse,
under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include her husband, Albert F. Ott of Converse; four
daughters, Julie Mae Rabon, and Sue Bossier, both of Converse,
Louise Peters of Jackson, Miss., and Polly Shows of Keithville;
two brothers, A. G. Peacock of Mansfield, and Rufus Peacock of
Converse; one sister, Annie Ott of Converse, 14 grandchildren,
and 17 great grandchildren.
