Ott Sr., 57, of Pelican, died at his residence Sunday night, Jan. 14, after a long illness. The funeral was at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in Wallace Baptist Church near Pelican, with the Rev. Tom Gillooly, and the Rev. A. F. Ott officiating. Burial was in Spring Ridge Cemetery near Pleasant Hill, under direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lottie Black Ott of Pelican; nine daughters, Sue Mayes, Mary Foreman, Kathy Ott, April Ott, and Lisa Ott, all of Pelican, Betty Bilyeu of Mabank, Tex., Diane Lord of Shreveport, Vicki Tedder of Houston, and Charlotte McCune of Endora, W. Va.; four sons, Marvin Ott Jr., Timothy Ott, Glynn Ott, and Michael Ott, all of Pelican; four brothers, Melton Ott of Pleasant Hill, T. J. Ott of Mansfield, Robert Ott of Mitchell, and Frank Ott of Alexandria; four sisters, Judy Hippler of Pelican, Lucille Rivers of Campti, Lillie Gayle Moss of Buras, and Debra Ott of Pleasant Hill; and seven grandchildren.
