Officiating was the Rev. William Campbell, and Rev. A. F. Ott Jr. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Converse. Mr. Ott passed away Friday, April 3, 1992, at the HCA Highland Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Mitchell, La. Mr. Ott was a carpenter, and a member of the Midway Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Ott of Converse; two daughters, Jackie Ott Litton of Shreveport, and Jan Johnson of Converse; one sister, Judy Ott Jones of Campti; one brother, Roy Ott of Shreveport; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Sidney Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Barry Johnson, Jimmy Pearson, Keith Patrick, and Billy Ott.
