Mrs. George E. Odom

  Mrs. George E. Odom, 79, of Shreveport, died at 6:30 a.m.,
Tuesday, Aug. 13, in Confederate Memorial Hospital, after a
lengthy illness.

  Born in Noble, Mrs. Odom had lived in Shreveport for the past 40
years. She formerly owned a café.

  Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 16, in Rose-Neath
Chapel.

  Burial was in Centuries Park Cemetery.

  Among survivors are a sister, Mrs. Evie Iwin of Noble.
