(Dock) Olliff, 64, of Robeline, died at his residence on Wednesday, June 11, following a sudden illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Olliff of Robeline; one son, James Olliff of Houma; one daughter, Wanda O. Jeter of Zwolle; two sisters, Mattie Mae Rains of Robeline, and Marie Farmer of Zwolle; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Rocky Springs Baptist Church on Friday, June 13, at 10 a.m. Officiating were the Rev. C. C. Pierce, and the Rev. E. W. Golemon. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Acie Perkins, John R. Cryer, Steve Rains, Pat Farmer, Roger Hornsby, and Tommy Josey.
