Willie Franklin Owens

  Willie Franklin Owens, 79, of Hornbeck, died on Wednesday, May
7, in Byrd Hospital in Leesville, following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Bible Baptist Church of
Hornbeck on Friday, May 9, at 2 p.m. The Rev. R. W. Lord
officiated. Burial followed in the Holly Grove Cemetery near
Anacoco, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Masons served as pallbearers. Survivors include his widow, Mrs.
Lillie Owens of Hornbeck; one stepson; three grandchildren, and
six great grandchildren.
