The Sabine Index - John George Owens

  21 Apr 1961 - Funeral service for John George Owens, age 67, who
died April 12 were conducted at Middlecreek Baptist church at
3:30 p.m. April 14 with Rev. Earl Marr, Rev. Johnnie Rhodes and
Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Interment was in Church cemetery
under the direction of the Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. Viola Owens of Florien, son, Curtis
Owens, of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Mrs. Verda Franton of
Pineville, Mrs. Velma Coburn of Florien, sisters, Mrs. Emma
Olliff of Robeline, Mrs. Mattie Coburn of Florien, 7
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
