Mrs. Zona E. Owens

  Services for Mrs. Zona E. Owens, 66, of Hornbeck, were held at 3
p.m., Saturday, April 5, at Mount Moriah Methodist Church in
Arcadia, La. Burial was at the church cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel in Shreveport.

  Mrs. Owens, a resident of Hornbeck for two years, died Thursday,
April 3, 1986, at Byrd Memorial Hospital in Leesville, La., after
a lengthy illness. She was born in Arcadia, La., and was a former
resident of Shreveport, La.

  She is survived by her husband, Leonard F. Owens of Hornbeck;
one son, Leonard Lynn Owens of Waskom, Texas; one daughter,
Nellie E. Chance of Hornbeck; three sisters; three brothers;
three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
