Louis Owers

  Louis Owers of Hornbeck, 59, died Thursday, Dec. 18, in an
Alexandria hospital.

  Services were at 2 p.m., Sunday, in Oak Grove Bible Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Wayne Reed officiating. Burial was in the
church cemetery.

  Survivors include two sons, Louis Owers Jr. of Houston, Tex.,
and Howard J. Owers of Hornbeck; four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth
Ross of Brighton, Ill., Mrs. Marvin Fiddle of Lafayette, and Mrs.
Bill Lutton, and Karen A. Owers, both of Hornbeck; one brother,
Willie Owers of Hornbeck; two sisters, Nancy Owers, and Mrs.
Frances Lofton, both of Hornbeck; and 10 grandchildren.
