The Sabine Index - Louis Ortego

  30 Aug 1957 - Last rites for Louis Ortego, age 65, who died at
Shreveport Wednesday, Aug. 21, was conducted at Warren Funeral
Home chapel at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 with Rev. Buck Buckanner
officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove cemetery at Mora, under
the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Louis Ortego of Shreveport, sons,
Joseph of Shreveport, Austin of Roxton, Texas, Roy of Alexandria;
two step sons, Jack and W. H. Brantley, both of Shreveport;
daughters, Mrs. Alice Pearl Herrington and Mrs. Jesse Mae Thomas,
both of Shreveport; two brothers, Willis and Johnnie Ortego, both
of Natchitoches.
