L Nabours, age 60 years, were held last Sunday at the First Baptist church at 3:00 p.m. Rev. C. W. Williams officiated. Interment was in Many cemetery under the direction of the Dennis-Green funeral home. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Emma Nabours; three sons, Cranfill of Many, Maston and Huey of Port Arthur, Texas; one daughter, Miss Nell Nabours of Many; two brothers, Robert K. Nabours of Manhattan, Kans., and L. M. Nabours of Alexandria; four sisters, Mrs. J. F. Lout and Mrs. G. C. Floyd of Shreveport, Mrs. J. M. Moore of Lake Charles and Miss Mae Nabours of Kansas City, Mo., also four grandchildren. Mr. Nabours passed away at the family home at 7:20 last Friday evening after a short illness. He was the first rural mail carrier for route one, also served as a member of the school board, was associated with the J. H. McNeely Mercantile company for years. Since retirement from active business he had operated a taxi. Willis Greer pastor of Calvary Baptist church, assisted by the Rev. T. J. Holladay, pastor of Pleasant Hill Methodist church, officiating. Mr. Byles was the son of the late Valmore Byles, who during his life was associated with the educational program of the state of Louisiana, and the late Mary Fraces(sic) Byles. Surviving are: wife, Mrs. Alice DeBose Byles, three sons, Roy Leon, Robert S. and Louis Everette Byles, all of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Donald D. Kelly, Many and Mrs. Robert L.
