The Rev. D. C. Boone of Port Arthur, Tex., officiated, assisted by the Rev. Louis Dunn of Silsbee. Surviving are four sons, James H. Cramer of Redland, Calif., J. M. Cramer of Port Arthur, Tex., R. H. Cramer of Baytown, Tex., and T. A. Cramer of Silsbee; four daughters, Mrs. J. H. Frazier of Zwolle, Mrs. D. Barnette of Baytown, Tex., Mrs. P. A. Arnold, and Mrs. Bill Hariman, both of Silsbee; one brother, James Phelps of St. Louis; and two sisters, Mrs. Ocie White of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Mary Ward of Detroit, Mich.; 28 grandchildren; and 39 great grandchildren. He also suffered a fractured skull when he fell from the back door, after the blast. He was rushed to Prothro clinic, and from there to Confederate Memorial Hospital in Shreveport, where he died at 9:30 p.m. Funeral services were held at the Allen Baptist Church in Allen. Interment was in Allen Cemetery. A program was rendered by the faculty and students of Carver High School. Eulogies and funeral oration were by Rev. J. J. Jones, and Rev. J. W. Washington, both of Pleasant Hill. Music was rendered by the choral group of Carver High School. Honorary pallbearers were James Ray Jackson, Gene Autry Carhee, Lester Carhee Jr., Jesse Porter, Jimmy Mims, and Robert James Dykes.
