The Rev. Carl Rhodes officiated. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Pou died Thursday, Aug. 20, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Waynesboro, Miss., and was the daughter of John Allen Smith, and Bette Graham Smith of Wayne County, Miss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. P. W. Pou, a dentist who practiced in Shreveport for more than 40 years. She is survived by two daughters, Cecile P. Tannehill of Many, and Elizabeth P. Gatti of Shreveport; six grandchildren, Johanna Faust, and Brian Tannehill of Many, Janet Coburn of Little Rock, Ark., Katie French, and Hal Gatti of Shreveport, Gwen Scott of Natchitoches; 12 great grandchildren, Jennifer Faust, Nicholas Faust, Cody Faust, Nicholas McCormic, Sara Tannehill, and Max Tannehill of Many, Lindy Coburn, and Richard Coburn of Little Rock, Ark., Clay French and Courtney French of Shreveport, May Scott, and All Scott of Natchitoches; one sister, Myrtie S. Holcombe of Waynesboro, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Hal Gatti, Brian Tannehill, Gary Coburn, Odia Faust, Allison Scott, and John French.
