Mrs. Minnie Phipps

  Mrs. Minnie L. Phipps, 71, of Logansport, died Tuesday, March
23.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Thursday, in Rose-Neath
Funeral Home, with the Rev. M. D. Nunley officiating. Burial was
in Longstreet Cemetery.

  Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Harold Coker of New Caney,
Tex., Mrs. Sisro Smitherman of Longstreet, Mrs. Millard Runnels
of Avery, Tex., and Mrs. Billy Marr of Shreveport; two brothers,
C. R. King Jr. of Pleasant Hill, and Walter King of Lake Arthur;
one sister, Mrs. Rosa Blankenship of Pleasant Hill; 10
grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
