Willie Mae Pipps

  Funeral services for Willie Mae Pipps, 78, were held at 10 a.m.,
December 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Danny Walsh
officiated. Interment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Ms. Pipps died on Dec. 13, at Sabine Medical Center in Many.

  She is survived by one son, Alex Marvin Pipps of Nacogdoches,
Tex.; two daughters, Delores Luce, also of Nacogdoches, Tex., and
Joyce Woodall of Mooringsport; one sister, Addie Burr of Gilmer,
Tex.; three brothers, Wayne Longoria, Harold Longoria, and R. L.
Longoria, all of Houston, Tex.; 10 grandchildren; 8 great
grandchildren'; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers included Donald Longoria, Kenny Longoria, Ricky
Longoria, Jimmy Longoria, Lester Longoria, and Stanley Garcia.

  Editorial note: Ms. Pipps was incorrectly referred to in the
male gender in her obituary in the Dec. 18 issue of the INDEX.
