Pugh, 77, expired at his home in Many shortly after midnight Friday, following a prolonged illness, having been confined to his domicile for several months. Funeral services at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon were conducted by the Rev. J. M. Pate, pastor Many Baptist church, and the Rev. J. B. Williams, superannuated minister, formerly pastor Many Methodist church. Mr. Pugh is survived by the following children: T. H. Pugh, Shreveport; H. Q. Pugh, Many; L. R. Pugh, Minden; Mrs. W. T. Gaddis, Marthaville; Mrs. G. C. Cobb, Eudora, Ark.; Mrs. W. M. Caskey, Nashville, Tenn. Born in Alabama August 20, 1857, Mr. Pugh came to Many when a young man where he and his spouse reared an interesting family.
