Pugh Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Monday, at First National Funeral Home, for Eugene E. Pugh, 84, of Shreveport; who died Saturday, at his home, after an extended illness. He was a retired school patrolman, a member of the J. Milton Edwards Veterans of Foreigh Wars post, had lived in Shreveport 19 years, and was a native of Center, Tex. Among his survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Henry Ebarb, Ivanell Pugh, and Tessie Pugh, all of Many. Officiating at the services was the Rev. Ben Joyner, pastor, and the Rev. Newell Pugh, pastor of the Leavy Street Mission. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, with graveside rites by the J. Milton Edwards VFW Post.
