Sgt. Peace has been in service 13 years, serving two years in foreign fields. He had not been home in almost two years. He was called then to his sister's bedside. He had been stationed at Fort Knox, Ky., prior to going overseas. He was married to Miss Louise Beaugardner of Kentucky three years ago. He has only one brother, S/Sgt. Jim Peace, who is in service in Florida. Staff Sergeant Peace's father has been dead only seven months. He died two days before Lee went overseas. It was impossible for Lee to home. Lee is survived by his wife and son; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Peace of Negreet; Mrs. Lumon Cook of Dess, Mrs. Buly Woodel of Negreet, Mrs. J. W. Williams, Mrs. Loree Meebeary of Negreet; one brother, S/Sgt. Jim Peace of Florida.
