Page, 74, of Shreveport, were held Saturday, July 24, at 1:00 p.m. Services were held at Mt. Paran Baptist Church. Rev. C. W. Penneywell officiated. Burial was at Carver Memorial Cemetery. He died Thursday, July 15, at Doctors Hospital, following a lengthy illness. A native of Bienville Parish, he lived in Shreveport most of his life. He was a retired Cleaner and Spotter, and pastor of the New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where he served for 24 years. He is survived by his wife, Noxie V. Page; a daughter, Maxine McCullock, both of Shreveport; two sons, Charles L. Hall of Galveston, Tex., and LaVorn Hall of Shreveport; one sister, Eliza Durham of Gibsland; three brothers, Lonnie Page, Sidney Page of Longview, Tex.; and Rev. Andrew Page of Many; eight grands; two great grands; a host of relatives and friends.
