Alton Page

  Services for Mr. Alton Page, 64, of Coushatta, were held at 2
p.m., Monday, August 29, at the Bethel Baptist Church, with the
Rev. Wiley Cole, and the Rev. Earl White officiating. Burial was
in Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of
Rockett Nettles Funeral Home in Coushatta.

  Mr. Page died Saturday, August 27, 1983, at his residence,
following a lengthy illness.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Sharon Starrett of
Shreveport, Mrs. Laura Ann Morgan of Keithville, and Mrs. Barbara
Gardner of Coushatta; one brother, James R. Page, Jr. of
Shreveport; five sisters, Mrs. Ann Peyton, Mrs. Evie Knotts, and
Mrs. Shirley Waters, all of Castor, Mrs. Lillian Herrin of
Mitchell, La., and Mrs. Ethel Burton of Cotton Valley; three
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were John Gardner, Mark Morgan, Bill Starret, Tony
Thomas, Michael Young, and Randy Thomas.
