All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Miss Iva Nell Pugh Miss Iva Nell Pugh, 67, died at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Many, on Friday, July 17, 1987, at 10 p.m. Mrs. Pugh held a B. A. and Masters Degree in Business and Music. She taught school for a number of years, and also was involved in office work. She was involved in establishing a church in Kansas City, Missouri, when she was stricken with illness, 22 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Lucy Pugh, who were residents of Noble. Her brother, Rev. J. T. Pugh was the General Home Mission Director of the United States for the United Pentecostal Church. Services were held on Monday, July 20, 1987, at 2 p.m., at Many United Pentecostal Church, with Rev. C. J. Walea officiating. Burial was at Noble Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include two sisters, Ozella Ebarb, and Tessie Pugh, both of Many; one brother, Rev. J. T. Pugh of Odessa, Tex.; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Campbell.
