  10 Mar 1999 - Mr. Gay L. Peace

  Mr. Gay L. Peace, 91, died Sunday, March 7 at his residence on
Lakeside Loop in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9 at Little
Flock Baptist Church with interment following at Little Flock
Cemetery. The Rev. E. E. Walker, the Rev. Ottis Branam and the
Rev. Bill Hines officiated.

  Survivors include tow sons Gary Peace of Negreet and Phillip
Peace and wife, Nancy of Sulphur; one daughter, Sue Peterson and
husband Ben D. of Florien; three sisters, Etoice Johnson of
Shreveport, Susie Calloway of Miami, Arizona and Lillie Martin of
Poulsbo, Wash.; eight grandchildren, Sara Ebarb, Russell Peace,
Boyd Peace, Stacey Rao, Jennifer Salter, Stephen Peterson, Brad
Peace and Mandy Peace; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Russell Peace, Boyd Peace, Ronnie Ebarb,
Stephen Peterson, Don Salter and Brad Peace. Honorary Pallbearers
were Bobby Smith, Argus Moore, Dane Branam, Levoie Branam, Homer
McNeely, Edward Speight, Craig Smith, Eldry Ferguson, C. N.
Speight and Don Terrell.
