All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Annie Peace Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Peace, 89, of Many, were held Sunday, June 18, 1995, at the Little Flock Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Little Flock Cemetery. The Reverends J. P. King, Ottis Branam, E. E. Walker, and Mack Brister Sr., conducted the services. Mrs. Peace died Friday morning, at the Heritage Manor #1 Nursing Home in Many. Mrs. Peace was born September 7, 1905, in Sabine Parish, to Wyatt Alanson, and Mary Eugenia Kelly Speight. Mrs. Peace married Mr. Gay Peace December 21, 1933, in Many. They were married for 61 1/2 years. Mrs. Peace taught at the Pisgah, and Negreet schools for many years, and also taught Sunday School at the Little Flock Baptist Church. Survivors are her widower, Mr. Gay Peace of Many; two sons, Mr. Gary Peace of Negreet, and Mr. Phillip Peace of Sulphur; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Peterson of Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Smith, and Mrs. Pearl McMillian, both of Many; eight grandchildren, Sara Ebarb, Russell Peace, Boyd Peace, Stacey Rao, Jennifer Salter, Stephen Peterson, Brad Peace, and Many Peace; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
