Rev. E. E. Walker, Rev. James Guay, and Rev. Lawrence Hidalgo officiated. Mrs. Peace died Wednesday, March 27, 1996, here in Many. She was a longtime active member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, and the Church pianist, as well as Church officer. Mrs. Peace was born on July 10, 1938, in Many, to Hattie Armour and Gerald Beasley. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lora Lea Peace; her parents; and a brother, Zane Beasley. Mrs. Peace is survived by her husband, Gary L. Peace of Many; three children, Sara Peace Ebarb and husband Ronnie of Shreveport, Russell Peace of Nashville, Tenn., Boyd Peace of Many; one brother, G. A. "Buddy" Beasley of Many; two grandchildren, Zack and Kelly Peace of Nashville, Tenn.; a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends. Pallbearers were Stephen Peterson, Brad Peace, David Beasley, Larry Horn, Shane Beasley, Luke Beasley, Clint Anderson, and Jason Beasley. Honorary pallbearers were the Negreet High School Class of 1956.
