T. R. Peace

  T. R. Peace, 86, of Toro, died April 8, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Pisgah Baptist Church, April
11, with the Rev. A. J. Dupree, the Rev. C. C. Pierce, and the
Rev. Toy Belcher officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. T. R. Peace of Toro;
seven daughters, Mrs. Keith Tabberer of Shreveport, Mrs. Elzie
Brooks of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Harold Mead of Mineola, Tex., Mrs.
Floyd Hoggard of Ft. Worth, Tex., Mrs. Kay Harmon of Opelousas,
Mrs. William Goodrich of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Mrs. L. T. Chapman
of Fairlee, Vt.; one brother, W. H. Peace of Florien; four
sisters, Mrs. J. P. Caldwell of Many, Mrs. Ollie Koonce of
Hornbeck, Mrs. Tim McNeely of Florien, and Mrs. Jack Newman of
Jasper, Tex.; 23 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
