Carlton E. Pugh

  Last rites for Carlton E. Pugh, age 73, were held last Saturday,
at San Patricio Baptist Church, at 2 p.m. Rev. Fank Chance of
Florien, Rev. Barry Brown of Converse, and Rv. C. C. Pierce of
Noble officiated. Burial was in the Cassel Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. C. E. Pugh; two sons, Arlis
Pugh, and Wallace Pugh, both of Mooringsport; three daughters,
Mrs. Sibley Thompson, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Eugene Deipzel, Mesa,
Ariz., and Mrs. Leonard Patterson, Shreveport; sister, Mrs. S. J.
Barlow, Wills Point, Tex.; three brothers, Henry Pugh, Dallas,
Tex., and John Pugh, Carthage, Tex., and George Pugh, Coushatta.

  Pallbearers were Laney McDonald, Johnnie McDonald, W. T.
McDonald, Alton Austin, Otto Batson, and Jerry Taylor.

  Mr. Pugh passed away at Converse, Dec. 28.
