William Peacock

  William Henry Peacock, 77, of Pelican, died Tuesday, May 11.

  Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, in Zion Rest
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Foster Jennings, and the Rev.
Sammy Mitchell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

  Survivors are his widow; four sons, Willard Peacock of Pelican,
Larry Peacock of Pleasant Hill, W. Clifton Peacock of Pasadena,
Tex., and Jerry L. Peacock of Houston, Tex.; six daughters, Mrs.
Louise Birdwell of Marthaville, Mrs. Barbara Frisk of LaJunta,
Colo., Mrs. Glenda Haire, and Mrs. Patricia Bridges, both of
Shreveport, Elizabeth Sue Peacock of Houston, tex., and Mrs.
Wanda Rambin of Mansfield; one brother, Clarence Peacock of
Mansfield; five sisters, Mrs. Lula Robbins of Mansfield, Mrs. Ida
Matthews, Mrs. Lillie Harrison, and Mrs. Evelyn Herrin, all of
Grand Cane, and Mrs. Ada Boone of Bossier City; 29 grandchildren,
and three great grandchildren.
