She was born on June 25, 1888, in Texarkana, Tex., ? and James E. Peacock of Austin, Tex.; five daughters, Everlee Rivers, Jackie Reed, and Ola Gunter, all of Pleasant Hill, Mattie Dans of Shreveport, and Betty Richard of Baton Rouge; one brother, Clifton Golden of Houston, Tex.; one niece, Jewell Lucius of Hanna; four nephews, Clarence Lewis of Natchitoches, L. E. Lewis of Auburn, Calif., and Walter Golden, and Fred Golden, both of Houston, Tex. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, on Tuesday, March 11, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Adrian Pater, and the Rev. Cecil Salley of Waco, Tex., officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Jerry Peacock, Glen Peacock, Raymond Peacock, Thomas L. Dans Jr., Dennis R. Dans, David W. Peacock, Marlin L. Peacock, and William H. Peacock.
