Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 4, at First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Zion Rest Cemetery in Wallace Community. The Rev. Joe Teibeau, pastor of First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, officiated, with the Rev. David Hill, pastor of Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Marthaville, assisting. Survivors include three sons, Bill Peacock and wife Jacquie of Cleveland, Texas, and Jerry Peacock of Magnolia, Texas; six daughters, Louise Birdwell and husband Vernon of Marthaville, Barbara Frisk and husband Stan, Glenda Haire and husband John, and Patricia Bridges and husband Worley, all of Shreveport, Elizabeth Sue Peacock of Santa Fe, Texas, and Wanda P. Rambin of Mansfield; two sisters; four brothers; 37 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Peacock was preceded in death by her husband, W. H. Peacock; two sons, Paul Ray Peacock, and Larry D. Peacock; and grandson, John P. Haire, Jr. Pallbearers were Shane Mayo, John Vercher, Dr. Bill Frisk, Billy Wayne Peacock, Paul Rambin, and Larry B. Rambin. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
