Ethel Cockran Peacock

  Funeral services for Ethel Cockran Peacock, 87, of Marthaville,
were held on Wednesday, May 17, 1995, at Cross Roads Baptist
Church in Marthaville.

  The Rev. E. W. Coleman officiated. Burial was at Marthaville
Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral
Home.

  Mrs. Peacock was a homemaker, and a member of the Anthony
Baptist Church in Marthaville.

  Mrs. Peacock passed away Monday, May 15, at the Natchitoches
Parish Hospital in Natchitoches.

  Survivors include one son, Ira Cockran Jr. of Marthaville; one
daughter, Imogene Rawls of Robeline; 10 grandchildren; and twenty
great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Jimmy Rawls, John Rawls, Jason Rawls, Tim
Rawls, Joe Hays, Randel Hays, Tony Cockran, and Gregory Cockran.
