James Claude Packwood

  Funeral services for James Claude Packwood, were held Monday,
March 1, at 10 a.m., at Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel, with Rev.
Arthur Haymon, and Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial was at
Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.

  Mr. Packwood, of Robeline, died Saturday, Feb. 27, at 4 a.m., in
Shreveport, due to an extended illness. He was 44.

  He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertie Stoker of Robeline;
four sons, Eddie Packwood, and Charlie Packwood, both of
Robeline, Patrick Packwood of Padre Island, Tex., and Michael
Packwood of Lake Charles; two daughters, Kelly Packwood of
Hayward, Calif., and Mrs. Neidra Solon of Lake Charles; and five
grandchildren.
