Mrs. Margaret Cecelia Pickett

  Mrs. Margaret Cecelia Pickett, 89, of Many, died in Minden at
9:15 p.m., on January 12, 1986.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Judge John S.
Pickett, Sr. Survivors include one son, Judge John S. Pickett,
Jr. of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Joy Pickett Phillips of Fisher,
and Mrs. Charlotte Pickett Ruffin of Minden; one half sister,
Mrs. Sara Vandegaer of Many; eleven grandchildren; and nine great
grandchildren.

  Services were held at First Baptist Church in Many, at 2 p.m.,
on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1986, with Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiating.
Burial was in Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were John J. Blake III, Gordon Parker, Bob Clark,
Pete Abington, Glenn Salter, and Willard Dewitt.
