Officiating was Father Daniel M. Walsh, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Rose-Neath, Bossier City. A vigil service was held Wednesday, January 2, at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Mrs. Pizzolato, a native of Bossier City and Shreveport all her life, passed away Tuesday, January 1, at Bossier Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. She was a housewife, and member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Pizzolato Sr. Survivors include four sons, Danny Pizzolato of Shreveport, Michael Pizzolato, Jasper Pizzolato, and John Pizzolato, all of Bossier City; one daughter, Cynthia Ann Staley of Baton Rouge; one sister, Vera McCoy of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Father Daniel M. Walsh of Zwolle, Joe Walsh of Boulder, Colorado, and George V. Walsh of Palo Alto, California; four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Nickie Pizzolato, Victor Pizzolato, David Blubaugh, Wesley Staley, Ralph Ratliff, and John C. Santoro Sr.
