Mrs. Irene Pokluda

  Mrs. Irene Pokluda, 78, died Thursday, Aug. 16, at her residence
in San Augustine, Texas.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, at St.
Ann Catholic Church, with interment following at St. Ann's
Catholic Cemetery. Father Williams officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Pokluda of San
Augustine, Texas; two sisters, Lillie Meshell, and Pearl Meshell,
both of Noble; one brother, Clifton Sepulvado of Houston, Texas;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were T. Brandon, Eldred Campbell, Clayton Meshell,
Jody Raney, Elton Sepulvado, and Glenn Sepulvado.
