The Sabine Index - Simeon J. Packer

  7 Mar 1952 - Funeral rites for Simeon J. Packer, 79, who
passed away in a Shreveport hospital Tuesday of last week after
an extended illness, were conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday at Zwolle
Methodist church by Rev. A. D. St. Amant, pastor. Interment was
under direction Warren funeral home.

  Mr. Packer was a veteran of the Spanish-American war and had
been a resident of Zwolle for a number of years.

  Surviving relatives include; sons, W. H. Packer, Zwolle,
Reuben Packer, Ballmges, Texas; daughter, Mrs. Harry Peterson, El
Paso, Texas, and five grandchildren.
