Interment was at Sardis Cemetery in Noble. Mr. Pickering passed away Monday, August 5, in Many. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Pickering from Zwolle; four sons, William Pickering of Buna, Everette Pickering and his wife Brenda of Brenham, Tex., Thomas Ezernack of Tyler, Tex., Harold Ezernack, also of Tyler, Tex.; two daughters, Linda Taylor of Buna, Tex., and Joy Smith and husband Donald of Tyler, Tex.; one sister, Vondell Newton of Vidor, Tex.; two brothers, Henry Pickering of Lumberton, Tex., and Steve Pickering of Vidor, Tex.; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers were Bryan Vines, Gene Pickering, Milton Newton, Darrell Newton, Darrell Sepulvado, and Jackie Anderson Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Rivers, and Johnny Pelt.
