Miss Mattie Pate

  Miss Mattie Pate, 94, died Saturday, April 24 in Alexandria.

  Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 26 at The Many
Cemetery. Dr. Earl Guin and Dr. Ed Scott officiated.

  Miss Pate was born in Hornbeck on Oct. 17, 1905.

  Survivors include three nieces, Evelyn McNeely of Many, Marion Macon
and husband, Jim of Williamsburg, Va. and Jamie Lee Pate of Memphis,
Tenn, and four nephews, Dr. James F. Pate and wife, Carolyn of
Alexandria, Dr. Robert Lafargue and wife, Rose Mary of Shreveport,
Dr. Wiley Price of Greenwood, S. C. and Lester Price and wife, Ruth
of Pine Bluff, AR.

  Warren Meadows Many, La.
