John Marshal Petty

  Funeral services for John Marshal Petty was held Monday, Nov.
30, at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Many. The
Rev. Ray Spiller, and Father Norman Buvens officiated. Interment
was at the Ft. Jesup Cemetery.

  Mr. Petty died at the St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles on
Saturday, Nov. 28, at 3:30 p.m. He was 79.

  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Addie Alford Petty of Many; a
son, Mr. Joe M. Petty of Lake Charles; a granddaughter, Donna
Raye Petty of Lake Charles; a sister, Mrs. Emmett Snell of Many;
and a number of nieces and nephews.
