  Services for Mr. Curtis Allen Paddie, Sr., 36, of Noble, were
held at 12 noon, Saturday, September 5, at St. Catherine's
Catholic Church in Noble. Father Gilles Boyer officiated. Burial
was at St. Catherine's Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home of Many, La.

  Mr. Paddie died Thursday, September 3, 1987, as the result of an
accident in San Augustine, Texas. He was preceded in death by his
father, Johnny Paddie.

  He is survived by his wife, Helen Paddie of Milam, Texas; three
daughters, Lisa Paddie, and Lana Paddie, all of Milam, Misty
Longoria of Many; three sons, Curtis Paddie, Jr., Thomas Paddie,
and Waylon Paddie, all of Milam; his mother Mary Paddie of Noble;
his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Procell of Converse; three
sisters, Wanda Ebarb of Noble, Annette Paddie of Noble, and
Myrtle Miller of Florien; three brothers, Perry Paddie of
Stonewall, La., Johnny Paddie Jr. of Noble, and Robert Paddie of
Many; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
